Everybody knows that Facebook is going to revamp. At Facebook developers meet F8, they shows a totally different look of social media. Every thing is now on a singe page from born to real-time (now). They scheduled to launch this new Facebook face on 30 September worldwide. Till date day this is open for developers.
We have a trick to use this feature before its launch. Simply follow the steps below:
- Login to your Facebook account and go to Facebook developer center. If you never use Facebook Developer app then you need to give access permission to the app by clicking on allow button. Don’t hesitate to allow permissions because this is an official app used by developers.
- Click on the ‘create new app’ link on top-right side.
- Give name to ‘App display name‘ and ‘App namespace‘ fields, Namespace must be at least 7 character long. Facebook will automatically check for availability of name. If namespace is available then click the check box to agree with privacy policies and then continue button.
If you never verify your Facebook account with your Phone number or credit card details, do it now otherwise you can’t use this feature, ignore this if already verified. - Fill CAPTCHA correctly to verify that you are not a bot. A new page will appear with some basic information’s.
- Click on ‘Open Graph‘ link, Give some information to action type and object type fields. You can fill anything in these fields then click ‘Get Started‘ button.
- In new window click ‘Save changes and Next‘ without applying any changes in fields.
- A new window will appear which tells about your newly setup application.
- That’s it, go to Facebook home page, Surprised, you are invited to enable Timeline.
- Click on Get it Now button to start using your new Facebook Timeline.

Take a quick tour to new layout by pressing ‘Start Tour‘ button, or press ‘Publish Now‘ button to use this feature. Remember this new profile look is visible to only those of your friends who enables this feature. Others will see older look untill it’ll launch officially.
